About NCSHP

Built from the field up.

Nebraska safety professionals working together to protect people, share experience, and raise the standard across construction.

Our story

One shared concern became a statewide community.

Early 1990s

A dedicated safety focus

Safety directors Bob Edick and Ruben Bera recognized that construction safety needed a focused organization of its own. They brought professionals together to promote safer worksites.

Growing network

Collaboration gained momentum

The group grew into Nebraska Construction Safety Professionals—a network driven by people with firsthand field experience, not distant theory.

2012 and beyond

A broader commitment

The organization evolved to reflect its emphasis on safer, healthier construction workplaces and became Nebraska Construction Safety & Health Professionals.

Today
